Digitální upskilling v malých a středních firmách

The diploma thesis deals with the perception of digital upskilling in small and medium-sized enterprises in the South Moravian Region. The aim is to clarify how companies and their employees perceive digital upskilling, why it is important to start dealing with it, and what opportunities and potential threats it brings. Two research studies were conducted. A quantitative survey in the form of a question-naire was conducted with employees from 12 selected companies. The survey examined their digital competence, perception of digital upskilling, preferences, motivation, advantages, and disadvantages. A qualitative study was conducted in the form of semi-structured interviews with executives and HR specialists. The interviews covered reflections on digitalization, perception of digital upskilling, benefits, potential threats, etc. Based on the analyses of both studies, the output is a clarification of the approach of companies and employees to this topic, as well as recommendations for implementing digital upskilling. This thesis is beneficial for small and medium-sized enterprises and their HR departments, specifically in the field of education.
The Firm in Competitive Environment

Bachelor thesis firm in the competitive environment in a specific example of belarusian company Berezaautotrans, u.e. shows how the company on the market of international road transport acts, make it profitable and be successfull in competition with other companies. The first part is devoted to theoretical definition of the company. The thesis describes the kinds of companies and their classification and describes the basic objectives of the enterprise. Further the first part describes the market and its structure, the difference between perfect and imperfect competition. Also this section describes the market of international road transport itself. The second part describes the company's strategy, which allow to achieve its competitiveness. Provided SWOT analysis, which result is a strategy that shows how the company could improve its market position. The conclusion summaries all the issues.

Managing employees and their motivation at AUTA s.r.o. is a thesis, which is focusing on behavior of employees and their management in small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Theoretical section of the thesis is about selected segments of human resources management in SMEs. The goal of this section is a presentation of various important topics to the reader and also a preparation for the second part of the thesis, the analytical section. Analytical section is concerned with an application of gained experience and knowledge to the real world situation. The goal of the analytical part is a description of a company AUTA s.r.o. from a view of HRM. Next, it is the evaluation of the company system of managing employees and also, my goal is to propose some possible advice or improvements. I am going to do that by using the methods such as observation or comparison, but the most important and the most used method will be the interview. Precisely, several interviews with the manager of the firm.
Key prosperity factors of a private medical clinic

The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to conduct an analysis of key prosperity factors of a private medical clinic and based on the findings to subsequently propose suitable measures which would increase the facility's profitability. The thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical section I briefly summarize the concept of entrepreneurship of small and middle-sized companies. I particularly focus on areas of management, marketing, financial and personnel management. In the practical section I apply theoretical knowledge of the above stated individual areas on a selected private medical clinic. I analyze individual aspects of the establishment's management and introduce proposals which could improve the medical clinic's economic situation. The final part of the thesis consists of a SWOT analysis which summarizes the most important aspects of the medical facility.
Audit IS/IT in smaller enterprises

The diploma work summarizes in the first section the common knowledge in the audit field of information systems and technologies theory as well as common state of knowledge in the field of marketing in small and medium-sized enterprises and market research as well. In the second section, the tools summarized in the first part are used for designing marketing research project on "The audit of information systems and technology in smaller businesses." The aim of the research was to seek the experience and customer feedback from the segment of smaller businesses to audit information systems. The research was designed as a qualitative one. As technique implementation of research was elected a research interview with looser structure. The work is divided to three parts -- designing of marketing research methodology, as well as conducting this research and it's evaluation.
Implementation of DMS in SME through Cloud Computing

This thesis analyzes the field of Document Management Systems (DMS) in Small and medium enterprises (SME). To be more specific, it analyzes ways and opportunities of a transition of the actual company situation to a cloud solution realized by the means of outsourcing. Due to the fact that this transition consists of many steps, some of them are critical for a successful realization, those steps have to be precisely analyzed and afterwards a corresponding solution has to be proposed. This analysis describes in a detail all the connections, which may interfere with each other and which may also interfere with the whole transition. The goals of this thesis are mainly to provide a specialized analysis of the transition to the cloud DMS, analysis of available cloud solutions, their categorization and assessment, description of connections emerging from the use of the cloud DMS in Small and medium enterprises, description of impacts of realized solutions and finally a summary of the analysis into a compact unit designated to be used as a manual for cloud DMS implementation in the Small and medium enterprise.
